What is Simplefit?

Simplefit is the world’s simplest effective workout. Our 30-minute training circuit is a complete strength and cardio workout.

Our clubs are boutique, small-scale, and welcoming to everyone—regardless of experience level or age. The synchronized equipment in the circuit ensures that there are no wait times for machines once you start your workout.

The machines are powered by AI and connect to you through the Simplefit App in your phone. All you do is sit at the machines and they will automatically adjust to your body, your current strength level, and your workout goals, then guide you through the perfect workout for you.

Working out at Simplefit twice per week is enough to make great progress on any of your fitness goals. It is a safe, effective, and budget-friendly alternative to personal training.

Is 30 minutes really enough to get results?

Absolutely! Our curated 8-machine circuit is designed to work every major muscle group in your body, including a mix of highly functional movements to improve every-day life. The timing of the circuit even introduces High Intensity Training (HIT) so that you achieve cardio and fat-loss benefits as well. In fact, because of the efficient design, it is in many ways better for you than a longer workout.

How do I sign up?

Welcome to Simplefit! Signing up is simple through our website. Choose your preferred location, then click the button prompting you to join the club. Follow the instructions and enter the necessary information. Your membership will start immediately after you sign up.

Is the trial session free?

Yes, your trial session is completely free. It is an easy way to acquaint yourself with Simplefit and our workout.

Why is my first payment higher?

Some membership plans include an enrollment fee to sign up, which is charged in your first bill. Other membership plans, and during certain sales events, enrollment fees are waived.

Where do I find your member app?

What is the One Day Sale?

We offer a One Day Sale on the first day a new club is open. It is the best deal we will ever offer for that club—and the rate you get remains valid for the lifetime of your membership.

Our current One Day Sale gives $5 off per two weeks (about $10 per month), and also no enrollment fee.

Who is Simplefit for?

Simplefit is for everyone, no matter your previous experience. Our priority is to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone feels welcome.

Is Simplefit only a strength workout? What about cardio?

The Simplefit circuit is synced so every machine enters their work phase and rest phase at the same time. This keeps you automatically on-schedule to finish in 30 minutes. It also keeps your work at a pace where you benefit from High Intensity Training (HIT). This style of training is proven to achieve cardio and fat-loss benefits in addition to strength gains.

Why is your membership on a two-week cycle?

Our goal is to create the simplest possible workout, and that includes our membership offering. We want it to be as easy as possible to join. We believe the shorter cycle lowers the barrier for people to give us a try.

What happens during a trial session?

You will be greeted at the door by your coach at your scheduled arrival time. Your coach will give you an overview of the workout, explaining how everything works, then take you through your initial onboarding to get you set up. They’ll then get you set up on the machines and let you experience a complete training session.

Are there any extra fees in addition to membership?

We aim to charge minimal additional fees to membership. Some membership plans include an enrollment fee to get your account set-up. We also charge an annual fee to maintain your membership and to help our ability to keep the club up-to-date over time. 

There are other small fees that might be charged to you in the event of certain events, like lost & replaced wristbands, extra 1:1 coaching, or failed payments due to a low account balance.

I am having trouble logging into the app, what should I do?

We’re sorry this isn’t working exactly right for you. Let’s check a few things that will hopefully work for you:

  • Confirm the email is correct. It must match the email you used to sign up.
  • Ensure you are using the correct app.
  • If you forgot your password, use the ‘Reset Password’ option and follow those instructions. Check your spam folder if you cannot find the reset email.
  • If you’re still having trouble, please email us at help@simplefit.com.

How can I be notified about an upcoming One Day Sale?

We’re happy you’re interested in joining Simplefit! 

If a Simplefit is opening near you and you’re interested in potentially taking advantage of the One Day Sale, navigate to the location’s page on our website. You will see a form to add your name and email to a notification list for the One Day Sale.

When is Simplefit open? What about holidays?

We aim to offer you the most convenient workout possible. Our clubs are open 24/7, 365 days per year. We are open all year round, even on holidays. 

The only exception to this is when there are municipal restrictions against staying open 24 hours. You can double-check the hours on your club’s location page on the website.

How often should I train at Simplefit?

We recommend training twice per week, at least two days apart, whenever is most convenient for you. This frequency is proven to achieve great results for strength, High Intensity Training (HIT) for cardio, and fat-loss—the three main benefits of Simplefit. It balances your workouts with plenty of beneficial recovery time. If your body recovers well with two workouts per week, it is OK to increase to three, as long as you keep rest days between workouts. Three workouts per week will give additional benefits to more advanced lifters, but two workouts provides incredible results for a majority of people.

Can I change the personal information in my account, like address, email, or bank details?

Yes—all this can be accomplished in your member app. Open the app, navigate to ‘My Profile’, then click to edit your data or membership. Feel free to email us at help@simplefit.com if you have additional questions.

What should I bring to my trial session?

Please bring workout clothes and your smart phone (so you can connect to the machines). We also encourage you to bring a bottle of water and a towel.

Why is membership more expensive if I use my credit card?

Credit card companies charge us fees to bill cards. Membership paid by credit card is slightly more expensive in order to balance this additional charge to us. 

When you sign up with Direct Debit to your bank account, you get the best price.

Where can I track my progress in the app?

Seeing your progress is a great way to keep motivated. Just open your app, go to ‘Progress’, and click ‘BioAge’.

How long is the One Day Sale?

It’s right in the name: only one day, and only the first day a new club is open.

What should I wear to my workout?

You do not need any specialty equipment to exercise at Simplefit. We ask that you wear at least a T-shirt or top, sport shorts or athletic pants, and clean athletic shoes. Your comfort is most important, so wear what you feel good exercising in. In the event of rain or snow, we kindly ask that you bring separate indoor shoes, so the space remains clean for everyone.

I have heart problems or other medical conditions. Can I still use Simplefit?

It is important to always consult your doctor to ensure exercise is suitable for you. If your doctor approves, Simplefit is an excellent choice for you. Our guided workout is both safer, and more effective, than training completely on your own.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, this is possible—though we’re sorry to see you go. If there is any feedback that can help us do better next time, please connect with us at help@simplefit.com. We truly appreciate your feedback.

You can process the cancellation in your Simplefit app by navigating to ‘My Profile’, ‘Contracts’, clicking on your membership, and cancelling.

You will continue to have access to the club for the remainder of your membership term, but it will not be renewed. BASIC members will continue to be billed (and keep club access) the remainder of the year, while PREMIUM members only for the next two-week cycle after the initial minimum contract period.

Can I reschedule my trial session?

Yes. To reschedule, you should look for the cancellation button inside the confirmation email for your appointment. You’ll then automatically get an email to choose a new date and time that work better for you.

Why is there a double deduction from my account this month?

We bill membership every two weeks, so you are likely to see multiple charges from us in a month.

How do I use the app to enter the club?

Club entry doors are unlocked by either QR Code or digital NFC card. Both are available in the member app.

What happens after the One Day Sale is over?

Membership prices return to normal for new members. Any members who joined during the sale keep the discounted price for the lifetime of their membership—it never increases to normal pricing!

Do you have changing rooms?

Simplefit clubs do not have locker rooms. We recommend you come prepared in your workout clothes. All Simplefit clubs do have bathrooms, however, as well as cubbies to store your things while you work out.

How do I know when it is time to move to the next machine in the circuit?

Screens on each machine will guide you through the movement and alert you when it is time to move to the next machine.

Do you offer day passes?

No, we do not offer single day passes at Simplefit. Training at Simplefit requires a membership, which starts at only $1. You can also sign up for a free trial session to see the club before you sign up.

Can I book a trial session for multiple people?

We’re so happy you want to share Simplefit. Working out with other people is an excellent way to keep motivated. 

To do this, please book concurrent (back-to-back) trial sessions, one for each person. Then, when you arrive together, your coach can take all of you through together at once.

How do I use the app to connect to the machines?

The machines connect to your phone using NFC technology. As you approach the machine, bring your phone close to the ‘+’ tap icon visible on top. The machine will connect automatically and adjust to you.

Can I join a club before it opens?

Unfortunately, no. Before a club opens, we allow you to join a mailing list to be notified about the One Day Sale. The One Day Sale occurs the day the club opens. It is the first day memberships are sold for that club.

How do I access the club?

Members have access to the club through their Simplefit member app. Clubs use either QR codes or digital NFC cards—both available in the app—to unlock the front door with a tap. 

You can also request a wristband for club access and to connect to the machines. Please inquire with someone at the club.

If you are not yet a member, you can sign-up online at simplefit.com to activate your account for only $1 to try the club.

If you have a free trial session scheduled, a coach will meet you at the door and help you inside the club.

Do I need to start the circuit at the same machine?

No, you can start anywhere—the circuit is a circle. You can begin with any machine, then continue until you are back where you started. 

The complete 30-minute workout consists of two full rotations through the machines.

As a member, can I make an appointment to train with a coach?

Yes—all memberships come with the ability to book coach-led sessions at the club. These are not required, but can be nice for folks who feel they need the extra coaching or are not yet completely comfortable with the machines.

What do I do if the app is not working properly?

We’re sorry this is happening to you. We recommend these steps, which can usually fix the issue:

  • Close and restart the app.
  • Check that the app is up to date in your phone’s app store.
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection, which the app requires.

What equipment is available at the club?

Our circuit consists of 8 AI-powered smart strength machines that give you a whole-body workout. Clubs also have traditional cardio machines in case you’d like to use them for a warm-up (this is not necessary for cardio, since the circuit itself acts as a High Intensity Training (HIT) workout).

Premium members also get access to unlimited massage in high-end luxury massage chairs at the club.
